Course Description
CASE STUDY - This one-day workshop will bring together your learning from 'IT Risk Management for Non-Techies' and 'How IT Risks Impact the Internal Control Environment', and supplement it with a hand-on case study where you perform an IT risk assessment. A quick refresher on IT risk concepts and IT risk scoping will start off the day, followed by a deeper dive into best practices to look for in IT general controls, and how to develop recommendations to mitigate IT risk. Participants will walk away with increased confidence in their ability to assess IT risk in their organizations or as part of a financial statement audit.
This event is part of a multi-course session on IT risk management. These courses will be both online and in person for a new blended learning approach.
